Still in business
by admin on Aug.12, 2010, under The Pumpkin Betrayal
As difficult as it has been we’re still here. The games been tested a little but we’re implementing a single player element because it was decided that the game would not have good initial reactions without it due to its complexity. Joe is working on an editor for the designers to build the single player campaign with. It will be divided into episodes each around 10 hours. We will be implementing new features in later episodes, but for now the campaign will serve as an introduction to the game and have an engaging story to enjoy. We’re attempting to strike a publishing deal, wish us luck!
To those interested in internships
by admin on Oct.06, 2009, under The Pumpkin Betrayal
For those who are looking for an internship there are a few things I must tell you.
First, we are not a large firm and therefore are unable to offer paid internships with our current funding. There is a lot of potential growth with our company and those with us early on will be the first considered for openings as we expand.
Second, we are a casually structured company. Our members understand their tasks and are willing to work hard to achieve them without hard deadlines and structure. If you are a person who needs a very structured work environment, this is not the job for you.

Much Progress
by admin on Jun.03, 2009, under The Pumpkin Betrayal
Now that summer has come around productivity has increased immensely. We now have a fully playable game without crashes and will be implementing databases which will allow for user accounts. Then we will move into a small (invite only) closed beta. This is very exciting as we will be able to see how players respond to the game and use the feedback to make adjustments before moving into a large scale open beta.
Also, if you are a graphic artist and are interested in working on this project to supplement your portfolio, please send an e-mail to derrick.lall@thepumpkinbetrayal.com to discuss.
